Coast-to-coast, we empower those who have honorably-served our nation to feel confident in their personal brand during their civilian transition. When your mission ends, ours begins.? Through our nationwide network of volunteer photographers, Portraits For Patriots? provides thousands of portfolio-quality "headshot" images each year that showcase the strength and determination of our transitioning service members, spouses and Gold Star families, free of charge. Today is Veterans Day here in the US, and Remembrance Day in the UK and the British Commonwealth. Both are observed on 11 November to memorialize the end of First World War hostilities, which ceased "at the 11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th month" of 1918. It’s an opportunity to reflect on the sacrifices made by our arm forces veterans, and give thanks for their service. I’ve been privileged to meet and work with quite a number of US service men and women as they start their transition out of the services, through the Portraits For Patriots? program This is Kito K.; he’s a dual American and Italian citizen and has served both countries; starting his military service in the Italian Air force and then for many years as a Green Beret with the United States Army Special Forces!
