What does it take to turn a passion project into a growing business? In Part 2 of Our Brand Story series, Dan shares the story of Portland Syrups’ first dedicated production space — beyond the NE Portland kitchen where our very first bottles were crafted. With just $200 in sales and a newly leased facility, Dan and his co-founder quickly realized they needed to scale — and fast. Taking that leap was a major risk, but it ultimately set the stage for growth. From day one, we've embraced the challenge of building sustainably, working within our means, and finding solutions as we go. That mindset continues to shape Portland Syrups today.

Something meaningful, delicious, and inclusive.
