Hope for men, women and children suffering from homelessness, addiction, hunger and abuse.
关于我们
Portland Rescue Mission started in 1949 as a soup kitchen by the Burnside Bridge in Portland, Oregon. 75 years later, we're still known for providing hope and transforming lives for those battling homelessness, hunger, and addiction. Your support provides for urgent needs like food, shelter and clothing. And you help offer a powerful solution to the root causes of homelessness through addiction recovery, spiritual renewal and life skills training. Help us give hope and restore life to hurting people in need.

Thank you, Hope for the Homeless Foundation, for partnering with PRM! With the recent grant HFH awarded us, we are exploring new avenues for finding and recruiting more women and children to come to Shepherd's Door. Many women are afraid and don't know where to go, but we are equipped to support these women. The unique opportunity with this grant will allow us to expand and broaden our reach! Thank you, HFH! https://www.hhfpdx.org/ #HopeForTheHomeless #ShepherdsDoor #WomenAndChildren #HomelessSupport #GrantFunding #SocialImpact

Did you know that over 1,400 veterans are currently homeless in Oregon*? That person we pass by on the streets—often unnoticed in our busy lives—might be a veteran who bravely served our country and is now facing tough times. Today, let's celebrate and honor every veteran. We see you and appreciate you! #OregonVeterans #SupportOurVeterans #VeteranAwareness #HomelessVeterans #HonoringVeterans #EndVeteranHomelessness *https://ow.ly/S60p50U3N8A

We’re so grateful for our partnership with Catalyst NW! Recently, we joined forces to replace the roof of a homeowner in need, bringing back security and peace of mind to their home. Thank you, Catalyst NW, for making projects like these possible! ????? #CommunityInAction #BuildingHope"

"Oh, the people we could serve and the resources we could provide with a new service van!" That's the prayer we sent up, and our partners from (former) St. Paul of Damascus Lutheran Church answered the call. We gathered recently to dedicate this NEW service van with our friends from the church. Thank you to St. Paul of Damascus Lutheran Church for the decades of community service and partnership.

Our Interns have been on the move! This awesome team went on the annual Vision and Call Retreat hosted by M.J. Murdock Charitable Trust to learn, worship, and spend time together as they continue to learn valuable leadership skills. Additionally, they spent time with our Outreach Team and the Hope Van to build relationships with those in need in our community. We love our Interns!!
