?? We’re 3! ?? Three years ago, our founders, Jeff Thornburg, Ian Vorbach, and Prashaanth Ravindran Ph.D., came together with one mission: to solve the need for maneuverability in space. After two years of delving deep into the problem and understanding our customers’ needs, we emerged from stealth and introduced Supernova, the world’s first next-gen satellite bus! Sometimes, a smaller build can still pack a bigger punch. We’re thrilled to share our first public hardware update, highlighting the evolution and optimization of our proprietary 3D-printed refractory alloy heat exchanger—a crucial milestone in our contracts! Our latest design is more compact than ever while still delivering?200 Newtons of thrust?(the “push” needed to move a satellite) and?400 seconds of ISP—a measure of fuel efficiency. This high specific impulse enables?our Supernova spacecraft with?more maneuvering?range per unit of fuel, making multiple rapid in-space maneuvers possible, including orbit changes on demand! Backed by our team’s deep expertise (including CEO Jeff Thornburg’s experience architecting SpaceX’s Raptor engine, powering Starship), we are leveraging that same pioneering spirit and additive manufacturing?to build efficient, low-cost systems without sacrificing performance.
