Enthusiasts all around the world have been waiting for this: In October, we presented the new 911 GT3. And it didn't come alone. To mark the model's 25th anniversary, it launched simultaneously in two versions for the first time: as a track-focused sports car with a rear wing and as a more understated version with a Touring package. The ultimate machine to bring to the roads and circuits! Stepping it up again is also the new 99X Electric, which Porsche Motorsport has unveiled for the next two seasons. With an expressive appearance, it complies with the regulations for the updated third generation of Formula E cars, called GEN3 Evo, and features all-round improved Porsche in-house developments, which we would like to introduce to you in detail. But this wouldn't be Porsche Spotlight if we didn't have even more topics up our sleeves. The only question is: what are you waiting for? Looking for that perfect line: Porsche head designer Michael Mauer and skiing legend Aksel Lund Svindal share a love of skiing, motorsport, design and performance. Now they have fulfilled a dream they have also shared for a long time. Data mesh favors decentralization of data over centralization of data and fits very well into the decentralized organization at Porsche, highlighting important topics for us like data product thinking. A data product should be accessible from everywhere within the data mesh and, in the best case, exists exactly once avoiding replication. To achieve this, we need systems in which compute and storage are separated, and in which compute and metadata are also separated. Karl Conrad takes the wheel With nearly a million subscribers to his YouTube channel, Karl Conrad is a content creator from Toronto, Canada who originally built a reputation for working in the technology space. However, in recent years he’s expanded his remit to lifestyle, travel and cars. Bundle this all up with the fact that he’s a 911 GT3 owner, and it made Karl the perfect candidate to head to Porsche headquarters in Stuttgart, grab the new 2025 Taycan Turbo S Cross Turismo and Taycan Turbo and head out on a very special road test. He even got to cap it all off with a visit to the Weissach Development Centre, which oversees the development and testing of every new Porsche model as well as being home of Porsche Motorsport.
