What is PASM? Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM) is a Porsche-developed technology that’s designed to enhance both performance and comfort. PASM is suspension technology that constantly makes adjustments to the dampers on your Porsche. It actively and continuously controls the damping force according to the road condition and driving mode you choose. Traditionally, dampers – also known as shock absorbers – could either provide comfort or be suited to dynamic driving. The PASM dampers, however, can do everything from sports- to comfort-oriented damping as well nuanced levels in between. Some have described it as being a bit like having a co-driver in your car, constantly reading the road and adjusting the dampers immediately. Sensors monitor such variables as steering input, how you accelerate and brake and the road conditions, for example. PASM can then automatically adjust the suspension settings for the appropriate handling and ride quality in just milliseconds. The drive for diversity in motorsport has shifted gears in recent years, but it is no secret that there is still work to do. Pioneering women remain committed to addressing the gender imbalance in the sport, and Abbie Eaton from Hull, Great Britain, is one such trailblazer. Abbie started her racing career in go-karts at the age of 10, rising through the ranks before going car racing in 2006. Crowned British GT GT4 Pro-Am Vice Champion in 2016, she soon became known for her role as test driver on Amazon Prime show The Grand Tour. Abbie then competed in the W Series single-seater championship in 2021 and 2022, not letting two fractured vertebrae slow her progress. She is an ambassador for Racing Pride, a movement promoting LGBTQ+ inclusivity in motorsport, and in 2023 she co-founded Rebelleo Motorsport, aiming to make the sport more accessible to all. At the start of the season came Abbie’s next step, making her debut in the closely contested Pro-Am category of the Porsche Carrera Cup GB, which was crowned with a win at Silverstone. "It all starts with a dream" In light of today's International Women's Day, we want to highlight a very special role model: Maryam Djavadi - our newly appointed Vice President of Customer Experience since July 2024. She has a career spanning over 25 years in the world of luxury and retail, during which she held several leadership positions. With an educational background around 3D Design, Maryam has a keen interest for beautiful objects, craftsmanship and innovation which was the trigger for her to make the jump from the fashion world to Porsche. She and her team aim to create the best omni-channel customer experience in the industry. "By being the voice of our customers, we add value in every step of their journey, inspiring emotions and delivering tailored experiences true to the values of our brand."; says Maryam. Her passion is centered around people, with an in-depth expertise in employee development and creating unique customer experiences. Her multi-cultural background (French, Iranian) and professional journey have seen her travel around the world and live in numerous countries, such as France, UK, Italy, Germany, and have helped her learn more about different cultures and languages and understand better the global customer scope. Her unique skills and experiences make her the perfect role model for our internal, group-wide panel talk next week. Under the motto "Women in leadership on the current challenges facing the automotive industry", she joins Mohanna Azarmandi from CARIAD, Andrea Lübke from MAN Truck & Bus SE and Mareike Brockmann from Volkswagen Group to inspire and give our employees insights into her perspective. Her key message: real change happens just and fairly.

Four records on four continents. After setting records on the Nürburgring Nordschleife and at Shanghai International Circuit and the WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca in California, the Taycan Turbo GT with Weissach package has now also set a lap record for electric cars at Interlagos, S?o Paulo. This is the fourth time, and on the fourth continent, that Porsche has secured a lap record with the electric sports car specially designed for the racetrack. Felipe Nasr, three-time IMSA champion and three-time winner of the 24 Hours of Daytona, set a time of 1:42.1 minutes on the 4.3-kilometre Interlagos circuit on 5 February 2025. The new lap time not only shaved almost eight seconds off the record set by the Taycan Turbo S in 2022 (1:49.8 minutes) but was also just under a second inside an earlier outright production-car lap record set by the 911 Turbo S (1:43.087 minutes).
