Hi all, now that I have been unemployed for 16 hours and have tasted the joys of doing nothing, it's time to return to work. It was fun while it lasted! After an incredible journey of 5 years as an investor and COO of Athletic Brewing Co., I'm thrilled to announce my next chapter: I am joining Popup Bagels as the Chief Financial Officer (CFO). Pop-Up Bagels, like Athletic, has taken a brand new approach to an everyday product and quickly changed perceptions from “blah” to “extraordinary.” Like Athletic Brewing, the upside for Pop Up bagels is infinite.?I have been on the board of Pop Up Bagels and a day-one investor, and I have witnessed the incredible growth from slightly afar. Similar to Athletic, Pop Up has an incredible investor team, and I'm eager to engage more on the day-to-day starting Monday. Thanks, Adam Goldberg, Stripes , and Christopher Carey , for making this all happen! Transitioning from COO to CFO presents a new set of challenges and opportunities. While the skill set might differ, the core mission remains: to build on a solid foundation with an incredible product.? At Athletic Brewing, we proved that passion, innovation, and a commitment to quality can transform a niche product into a household name. I am eager to bring this same ethos to Pop Up Bagels. As CFO, I will leverage my experience in building robust operational frameworks, fostering team synergy, and driving sustainable growth to ensure that Pop Up Bagels continues to thrive and grow exponentially. I am deeply grateful to the team at Athletic Brewing for an unforgettable journey and equally excited to embark on this new adventure with Pop Up Bagels.
