Today, I was honored to participate in the induction ceremony for the 2023 fellows of AAAS--the American Association for the Advancement of Science. I felt so grateful to represent contributions to science in women's global health, especially in women's empowerment and the prevention of gender-based violence. I felt honored to be among the 10 faculty at Emory University who were inducted today, and I feel energized to continue the work of translating our team's findings into evidence-based policy and practice. Warm congratulations to my Emory University colleagues as well.
