Thrilled to share that I attended the "Two Day Business Workshop for Micro-Entrepreneurs in Maharashtra", organized by the Confederation of Indian Industry Pune and CII Centre of Excellence on Employment and Livelihood - CII CEL on 12th & 13th February 2025 at the Institute of Management Development and Research (IMDR) ,Pune with support from Volvo Group Trust. With 45+ enthusiastic entrepreneurs in attendance, the workshop provided practical strategies, expert mentorship, & valuable networking opportunity. ?? Key Takeaways from the Workshop: ?? Aditya Mhatre’s sessions on Business 360, Team-building, Sales & Marketing 101 were energetic, wholesome, and interactive. One of the most striking discussions was the Skill-Attitude Matrix during the HR session. As an engineering student, it hit me hard— most upcoming graduates today lack both "Skill" and "Will", making it challenging for industries to work with our generation. But I believe this issue should be addressed from both sides: ??Students & Academic Institutions must align with industry requirements. ??Industries must adapt to the evolving workforce—prioritizing result-oriented work over long hours, adopting better talent retention strategies, and tech-driven efficiency. This challenge is faced today by many MSMEs, startups, and businesses, and I’ll be working on possible solutions to bridge this gap. ?? The Finance sessions by Abhinav D. Jog, PhD Jog were another game-changer! He simplified complex finance topics into bite-sized, practical insights! ?? Huge thanks to Poornatha (Business & Leadership Education Company) for curating such thoughtful workbooks for the workshop! ?? And a special thanks to Dr. Shikha Jain Ma’am for giving us the opportunity to explore the IMDR Campus—the oldest B-School in Pune! Most importantly, a big shoutout to all the participants!
