Polytek was represented by Tom Augustyniak (Epoxy Business Development Manager) at a technical workshop held by Composites One at the Chem-Trend facility in Queretaro, Mexico. Chem-Trend manufactures high-performance release agents and related processing aids. Polytek demonstrated how to use Polytek PlatSil FS-20X to make a reusable silicone vacuum bag. ? The event featured live process demonstrations with industry experts from the Composites One Technical Team.?A mini catamaran sailboat was created using an infusion process with the reusable silicone bag and Light RTM. ? We look forward to participating in more occasions where we can teach, network, and provide hands-on demonstrations with our distribution partner, Composites One.
