Here's how we're improving our workflow using Polymet (YC S24), Figma, and Cursor AI to enhance our user onboarding experience: First, we explore design possibilities in Polymet using targeted prompts. Next, we transfer our favorites to Figma using our custom import plugin (currently internal testing) We then refine these designs in Figma to perfect the details Finally, we use Polymet and Cursor to transform designs into production-ready code: getting the project from Polymet, getting the pixel-perfect design from Figma, and iterating with Cursor. This streamlined process allows us to ship new features in hours instead of days. For example, we recently created a new onboarding flow with an intuitive accordion menu and supporting visuals - from concept to deployment in just one afternoon. Here's the prompt and Polymet output we used to kickstart the design: "I need a single-page introduction page; you can list the features supported by icons on the left and use an accordion structure. On the right, you can use a visual structure that supports the feature. It must be related to the photo or visual feature you draw."
