The Polymers Center of Excellence is a not-for-profit 501(c)6 organization created by the state of North Carolina to increase knowledge, provide technical support, and assist in the development of emerging technologies in the plastics industry. Our organization maintains: injection molding equipment, extrusion compounding equipment, ingredient form and feeding sequence, process conditions for your compounded product, and a test laboratory to assist you in assessing results to enhance the quality, performance, and properties of your products. We offer 1-3 day courses in polymers, plastic part design, injection molding, and extrusion. In addition to holding classes at our facility in Charlotte on a semi-annual basis, we can also teach at your place of business or your local community college.
