Did you know the Chet Holifield building is mostly subterranean (yes, underground!) with a total of 1,000,000 sq ft of space? Or that it was designed by William L. Pereira—the same architect behind icons like the Transamerica Tower, LAX, and the Disneyland Hotel? Pereira also helped draft the master plan for the 1933 Chicago World’s Fair and trained legendary architects like Frank Gehry. ????
