PolyCon Solutions has expanded its executive team by appointing Kathy Simpkins as Chief Operating Officer. Kathy has over 15 years of experience in acquisition program management, government consulting, program development and execution, and business operations. She brings valuable leadership to PolyCon’s executive team during a period of rapid growth. As COO, Kathy will lead operations and direct the company’s finance and administrative functions. Nadia Shash, PolyCon’s CEO and founder, stated “Kathy is a seasoned and trusted leader who consistently delivers results, we are thrilled to have a steady hand at the operational helm as we continue to expand.” Ms. Simpkins began her professional career as a contract negotiator in the marketing division of a major telecommunications firm. She then transitioned to the FAA where she held an unlimited warrant as a Senior Contracting Officer for 10 years before returning to private industry as a member of the leadership team at LS Technologies. Kathy holds a Masters in Supply Chain Management from Howard University.
