One of the great things about having your own firm is that you get to hire great people and work closely with them for many years. The sad part comes when they decide to take their well deserved retirement. Meg Baron has been with me since I first left my starting firm, way back in 2009. We have been through so much together, both good a bad. Yesterday was her last day. We are friends, so I will still see her, but I will miss talking with her first thing about the news, getting opinions on a new outfit and bantering back and forth.
