Coachella announced its 2025 lineup early this year, just days after headliner Post Malone revealed he’d be closing out the festival with the announcement of his “BIG ASS Stadium Tour” this spring. Lady Gaga, Green Day and Travis Scott are also set to headline this year’s festival, taking place April 11-13 and April 18-20 in Indio, California. ? Rod Stewart is bringing his “One Last Time” tour to North America in 2025 and will reunite with Cheap Trick as his special guest for 20 shows. As an announcement from promoter Live Nation points out, Stewart is “not slowing down” in the sixth decade of his career. The two-time Rock & Roll Hall of Fame inducted singer-songwriter has been busy this year touring Europe and Asia, along with releasing his 33rd studio album, Swing Fever, a collaboration with Jools Holland with his Rhythm & Blues Orchestra. P!NK?makes her second appearance this year at No. 1 on?LIVE75?after box-office results were reported from eight fall concerts that land in the chart’s eligibility timeframe. Three were among the final stadium dates on her “Summer Carnival Tour,” while five of the shows were at arenas on her “P!NK Live 2024” trek. ? She last held the top ranking in early August after averaging 42,635 sold tickets per show at three July stadium performances in Europe. After wrapping up “The Untouchable Tour” in 2016, Meghan Trainor prepared to undergo her second vocal chord surgery. In the leadup to the procedure, she worried about what would result, fearing she’d never be able to sing again. While the surgery was successful, the pop star felt it was best to take a pause from the road. ? Following her vocal surgery, she had to remain silent for weeks in order to prevent further strain on her vocal cords and the idea of taking the stage again became a daunting task. Since then, she got married and had two children. She worked with a new vocal coach and she discovered better ways to take care of her voice. In all, it took eight years for Trainor to feel ready to hit the road. ? The “Robbie Williams Live 2025” opens in Edinburgh, Scotland, May 31, 2025. Concert discovery platform Bandsintown is introducing an expanded presale feature that allows any artist to launch ticket presales for tours and events, regardless of the ticketing company used by the venue, including a white glove presale for major artists and tours. Artists can publish tour dates on their website and socials using free Bandsintown for Artists tools, making it easy for fans to sign up with their email and phone number to be automatically notified when they can buy presale tickets in their city. Coldplay continues their “Music Of The Spheres World Tour” with their biggest stadium show to date at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India, on Jan. 25. The show has the potential for an audience of 100,000 fans and is promoted by BookMyShow Live and Live Nation. Coldplay is booked by WME worldwide, excluding North America and is managed by Phil Harvey, Mandi Frost and Arlene Moon. Among 61 headline reports submitted to Pollstar’s Boxoffice throughout the tour, the band has sold 9.6 million tickets, surpassing $1 billion dollars in ticket sales. Coldplay follows Taylor Swift as the only two artists to break $1 billion in a single tour, becoming the first band to surpass that benchmark.
