https://lnkd.in/g_QBzGKY ?? Unlocking Economic Mobility: What Really Makes a Difference? ?? Ever wondered what truly drives economic mobility? ?? Camber Collective and the Mobility Experiences project put together some incredibly informative content! They engaged with over 4,000 people across the U.S. to understand their views on economic opportunity and to identify which Mobility Experiences they believe are most influential. Our Executive Director Jesse Vasquez got to share his story about what made an impact for his economic mobility. Jesse’s story is a perfect example of some of the pathways outlined in the Mobility Experiences project. Through his journey, we see firsthand how certain key experiences can shape one's economic trajectory. His experience brings to life the abstract concepts showing how impactful these Mobility Experiences can be. Pollen Initiative creates a pathway for individuals to find their voice, develop their skill set and build their network for economic mobility and stability. Providing opportunities for workforce, professional and pro-social development inside of institutions is vital for people’s reentry journey. A special thanks to CACorrections, filmcalifornia and Public Information Officer Lt. G. Berry at San Quentin Rehabilitation Center for getting us the permits, and spending time with us, to film inside of the historic San Quentin museum. #EconomicMobility #MobilityExperiences #ResearchFindings #JessesStory #EconomicOpportunity #FutureOfWork#CAModel#Rehabilitation#SecondChances#PrisonJournalism.

We're excited to share what the journalism guild participants have produced at the Central California Women's Facility. Most of them grew up in the prison system so you won't find them on LinkedIn. And chances are once they are paroled they might not be on LinkedIn because they are trying to make a living and rebuild their lives. But, for now they get to tell their communities stories. We get to watch and learn as they capture the "rough first draft of history" in their society. Through their writing we get to bear witness to their potential. We hope you follow their paper trail. https://lnkd.in/gyrTUeQT
