Yes, there’s a lot of noise in your feed. And yes, some job postings aren’t as real as they seem. But here’s why I keep showing up here: I’m an agency recruiter, and over the years, I’ve helped thousands of people land jobs through LinkedIn. That’s thousands of lives changed because of this platform. Here’s what works: 1?? Networking matters. The connections you make here are real opportunities, not just likes and comments . 2?? Personal branding is powerful. The way you present yourself on LinkedIn can attract recruiters and hiring managers who might not have noticed you otherwise. 3?? The jobs are real—but the process takes strategy. Tailor your applications, use the platform to connect with hiring managers, and don’t be afraid to reach out directly. I won’t pretend LinkedIn is perfect. But for me and the people I’ve worked with, it’s been a game-changer. So, before dismissing it, ask yourself: Are you using it as a tool or just scrolling? Sarah and David sat across from each other at their usual coffee shop table, but the atmosphere was far from usual.
