  • PRA in the press! The SMVF TA Center’s Crisis Intercept Mapping is transforming how communities address suicide prevention. By bringing together local leaders from health care, law enforcement, Veterans' services, and more, this initiative identifies gaps in crisis care and develops strategic, actionable solutions. NORC at the University of Chicago and Policy Research’s analysis of 24 participating communities highlights common challenges, such as inconsistent suicide risk screening and difficulties in care transitions. The findings are already informing improvements in community-based responses and supporting the increased demand for care driven by the 988 Lifeline. https://bit.ly/3VNDhtB
