Total manufacturing hours in Rhode Island (seen as a proxy for manufacturing output), rose 7.5% year over year per the latest report from University of Rhode Island economist and professor Leonard Lardaro. “[Manufacturing hour] growth rates have been substantial since March, as both the workweek and employment continue to rise. Importantly, this is the opposite of the national trend.” #Manufacturing wages also went up Yr over Yr, by 1.1%.
