Last week, Polar President & COO, Surya Iyer, had the honor of attending the Governors Apprenticeship Innovation Summit in Phoenix, Arizona, as part of his role as Chair of the Minnesota Governor’s Workforce Development Board (GWDB). Surya was joined by Katie McClelland, Director of the GWDB and Minnesota Department of Employment and Economic Development (DEED), to represent Minnesota in this national conversation. The Summit, held during National Apprenticeship Week, brought together Governors’ advisors, employers, federal partners, and other stakeholders to share best practices for expanding apprenticeship programs in priority industries like #manufacturing, #healthcare, and #technology. At Polar, we understand the critical role apprenticeships play in building a skilled workforce and fostering economic growth. We’re proud to collaborate with leaders at events like this to help shape the future of workforce development. A heartfelt thank you to the event organizers for creating such a valuable forum for dialogue and innovation! ?? #PolarSemiconductor #WorkforceDevelopment #Apprenticeships #MNWorkforce #GWDB #NAW2024 #DecadeOfNAW #ApprenticeshipUSA #Innovation
