Yesterday, Polar representatives had the opportunity to attend an in-person meeting for the Diversity in Manufacturing Initiative (DiMi), a collaboration led by CareerForceMN and Minnesota Department of Employment and Economic Development. DiMi aims to increase employment among BIPOC and other underrepresented talent pools in manufacturing by engaging employers, educators, community leaders, and workforce development stakeholders across Minnesota. We're excited to collaborate with industry partners to create more opportunities and career pathways for underrepresented communities in this crucial industry! With $525 million in investments—including $123 million from the CHIPS and Science Act—this expansion will nearly double our production capacity and add cutting-edge technologies in power semiconductors and sensors.
