The 2025 Jones Idea Challenge has officially kicked off! Undergraduate students from across the university got the opportunity to hear problem pitches from all six of this year’s participating companies and select which one they’ll be working on to create an innovative solution for over the next four weeks. When I started POV, my dad said, "definitely do a launch event and call everyone you know." I hadn't realize the gravity of his words until this Saturday. We hosted a launch event for our Future Classics Collections in Seattle and I called everyone :). It was the best day of my POV life knowing that it is meaningful to people beyond us - loved meeting old friends and made some new ones too. I realized that the gratification of seeing POV on our customers and being blown away by how much better it looks on them than in my imagination is why I do what I do. And we know we've done something right when their conversations go - 'oh you should get this one', 'you look like a boss lady in this one', 'this is so you', 'you should wear this for your keynote next month'. I was truly touched when one of our customers wanted a dress for her oath ceremony - something that made her look confident and proud. ??Knock on wood. Behind the scenes, my most special moments were having the whole families of my small and mighty team come together to transform the space. And HOW! Thank you universe.
