The Poe Center was featured in Triangle Family Magazine! In a recent issue, the magazine highlighted our work to spread awareness and education about youth mental health. "Since COVID, more people have been willing to talk about mental health compared to previous years. When everyone you knew was experiencing what you were experiencing...it seemed to open that door for conversation," says our MindWELL Associate Director, Jessica Fowler. Our onsite MindWELL Garden and Labyrinth was featured, along with advice from Jessica on how parents can support a child experiencing a mental health event. The article also featured Teen Mental Health First Aid, an evidence-based curriculum to equip teens with skills to recognize and respond to mental health challenges.
