5 years since the idea of PodMatch... How cool! :)

    Podcaster & Founder of PodMatch.com ??

5 years ago today, I had the idea for PodMatch. I whiteboard it out then pitched it to 2 partners. Jesse Hunter (Long-time friend) and Alecia Sanfilippo (my operational genius wife). The 3 of us decided to give it a go. That same day, we hit the ground running to see if we could create something that would serve podcast hosts and podcast guests by helping them find each other faster and streamlining the entire administrative process. Since then, more than 114k interviews have taken place on PodMatch and we’re saving people a lot of time so they can focus on the joyful part of podcasting, the recording itself! Today, the 3 of us met to determine the roadmap for the next 90 days. Among a lot of smaller things which will help move the needle for hosts and guests, we have one big thing that we’ll be letting out that I’m really excited about! More on that later. This is a quick action shot of me and Jesse from today, 5 years after day one! Still having fun! Thank you everyone who’s supported us and been part of this community. It’s been an incredible journey, and I believe we’re still just getting started!

getting booked on podcasts doesn’t have to be a full-time job. in the last three months, I’ve landed 25+ podcast interviews. all while spending just 30 minutes a week on my strategy. here’s what worked: → outreach (least reliable) → engaging on threads (a hidden gem) → PodMatch (most reliable) the key? having a system that filters out pay-to-play podcasts, keeps my pitches organized, and makes it easy for hosts to say yes. if you’re looking to grow your audience through podcast guesting, here’s how to do it efficiently. read more here ↓
