  • Your brand should grow with you. But how do you know when it’s time for a refresh? Here are three clear signs: 1?? Your audience has evolved, but your messaging hasn’t. 2?? Your services and expertise have expanded beyond your original brand. 3?? You find yourself constantly explaining what you do—because your name, logo, or content doesn’t make it obvious. That’s why I rebranded my podcast from Reaching Abundance to Podcasting for Financial Professionals. It’s not just a new name—it’s a clearer, more strategic way to connect with the right people. Thinking of rebranding? Don’t just change your look—elevate your positioning. ?? Listen to this episode for the full strategy: https://lnkd.in/gUVvyKpr

  • Too many financial professionals hesitate to start a podcast because they’re “figuring out the branding.” Truth is, your brand will evolve—waiting for perfection just delays the results. I’ve rebranded my podcast twice now. First, I pivoted from personal finance to podcasting for financial professionals. Now, I’m refining it further to reflect the premium experience I offer. Every stage of growth required updates—logo, name, messaging, visuals—but each step moved me closer to the brand I have today. Your brand should evolve. If you’ve been waiting for the “perfect” time, here’s your sign: just start. ?? In this episode, I walk through the rebrand process and how to do it strategically. • "By helping those folks, I'm doing them, or their generation, right, a good deed that inevitably will come back to me in some way, shape, or form." - DJ Olojo ROI in podcasting isn't always about direct client acquisition. (**In fact, I have an episode about the 8 non-traditional ROI metrics you're probably missing out on... and a freebie to go with it, but back to DJ) DJ's focus with his podcast is primarily to HELP people facing foreclosure with the knowledge he has about how the process works and what they can do to navigate well, since real estate deals are his playground. His book and his podcast create a strong personal brand and significantly boost his credibility in the real estate space (what other real estate agent has this stuff?!?!) which has generated business for him from non-foreclosure properties time and time again. Dj's focus on helping humans in their time of need has created dividends in authority, goodwill, opportunities to speak and guest on podcasts, and ultimately get more time in front of more people. Listen to DJ's story on the Reaching Abundance podcast today and explore how YOU can pursue your passion AND create a profitable business with indirect ROI. The more open minded and creative you can be about how these two endeavors feed each other, the greater the benefit you'll find.

  • Ever felt torn between what makes money and what fuels your passion? My guest this week, DJ Olojo of The Foreclosure Fix, found a way to do both. He took: ?? Real estate investing (his profitable business) ?? Foreclosure education (his passion—helping families avoid losing their homes) And paired them into a brand that builds credibility, impact, and longevity. So many financial professionals (you!) have a helping heart but suppress their deeper passion because they don’t see the immediate ROI. But what if your personal brand, book, or podcast could live in perpetuity and expand your influence? This episode helps you reframe how you think about your passion vs. your business. • Today's clients get ?????????? ???????????????? - ?? Lessons from my own journey as a content creator (back then & now) ?? Lessons from the 100+ brands I've helped over the past 5 1/2 years Yep - I launched a podcast with zero foundation in 2019 and podfaded Titanic-style ?? by episode 30 The struggle was real - building a business, serving clients, AND producing my own pod was too much! Which is why I completely shifted gears and started producing podcasts for business owners. I KNEW the weight of the ?????? ?????????????? ???????????????? ???????????? and how much more joy, freedom, and time they'd have if I did that piece for them. This need is still present for entrepreneurs - nothing's really changed...in fact, the content-creation hamster wheel ?????? ???????????????? ???????????? ?????????? ?? But hey, that's why I'm still here. Because ???????? ???? ???????? ???????? ???????????????? ?????????? & should be spent doing things you love and are good at - talking with clients, helping people, sharing your wisdom, coming up with fresh ideas, and gracing the stage (or camera) with your face - all things nobody can do for you. Editing your video and audio, hand-crafting reels, doing SEO research, and drafting in-depth show notes are all things my team and I do to ???????? ?????? ????????. The proof this works? One of my clients has been with me 100+ episodes and is still going strong ?? Two other clients are with me for season 3 of their shows ?? Another long-time client who had a DIY show and stopped in 2018 (we've been doing copywriting work for his YouTube channel all this time) is launching a fresh video-first podcast next month ?? A new client came to us recently for help incorporating video for season 6 of her show ?? And of course, I personally managed to launch my own video-first show last year, because of the reliable help my team provides - something I tried and failed to do alone ?? What do you wish you'd known before starting your own show?

  • ?? Here's what it's like to NOT edit your own episodes ?? Bri and Jay of @ChildfreeWealth have more to do than produce a podcast (they've got a financial services firm to run!) which is exactly why they hired a team to produce their show. During her interview this week, Bri mentioned at least 2 people that streamline podcast production in the background so she and Jay can actually work on money making activities: - An ops coordinator who tracks the topics, go-live dates, and when things get recorded - An editor who makes them look/sound great, cuts mistakes, and professionalizes their sound to industry standards Bri said it best- she CAN do it (she started out that way) but she SHOULDN'T be doing it (podcast editing) based on her expertise, knowledge, and ability to make money helping people with their money. What are you doing in your business that someone else can and should be doing for you? What ELSE could you be doing to move the business forward during that (soon-to-be) free time?

  • What if your podcast is a HIT and you get recognized in public? Bri Conn of the Childfree Wealth podcast has a few tips for you: First, she keeps a spreadsheet to clearly define her boundaries and air-safe topics Next, she never shares her location of recreational activities or exactly where she's from Finally, she keeps her wife's name and specific details of her personal life private. You CAN have privacy while also being a very public figure, the face of your brand, and enjoying thousands (or millions) of followers...it just takes a little intentional planning and communication with the ones you prefer to protect. For more details on how the Childfree Wealth brand was created, their recording/publishing workflow, and how they navigate being in the spotlight, listen to the full episode. ?? https://lnkd.in/gDYjJf4z #podcastservices #podcastserviceprovider #podcastservice #podcastingforentrepreneurs #podcastingforbusiness #podcastingforbusinessowners #marketingarm #marketingforsmallbusiness #marketingviapodcast #podcastingismarketing #growyouraudience #marketingstrategyforsmallbusiness #businessmarketingstrategy #podcastmanagement #contentstrategy #contentmanagement #contentstrategist #videoeditor

  • How much bravery would it take for you to say you DON'T serve the majority? When Jay and Bri claimed the childfree financial planning space, it took guts. It meant turning away the large majority of the population and only serving DINKs (dual income no kids) and SINKs (single income no kids). However, this allowed them to FULLY serve those childfree people and couples since their focus wasn't scattered across a range of family planning, college, and inheritance scenarios for their clients. Sure, you don't share the exact niche, but there's a TON you can learn from Bri in the latest episode of Reaching Abundance. Listen/watch here: https://lnkd.in/gDYjJf4z When you think about narrowing who you serve, what questions or hesitations come to mind? Share below & get it out in the open so the community can help! ??
