Yesterday we hosted Alt Labs Demo Day event at Boho X! This was a chance for some brilliant start-ups to showcase their businesses to investors, industry leaders and supporters. Cohorts from The Stables and The Forge pitched their businesses, showcasing the incredible talent from the region and promise for the future. Connecting the bridges between new businesses and those leading their industries is so important to us. Thanks to Alt Labs for organising this event, and well done to all the cohorts!

We've recently unveiled our plans to transform the former Doctor Browns building into Pitch, a modern multi-sports bar in the centre of Middlesbrough. Since acquiring the Corporation Road property, we've been hard at work crafting our vision for the building. Pitch will be a vibrant hub for sports fans, music lovers and the local community,?creating an attractive destination and further pushing the growth of Middlesbrough. Our CEO, Steve Brooke, commented "With a commitment to Teesside’s ongoing growth and a desire to contribute to a thriving town centre, we look forward to welcoming guests to the venue later in 2025." Last week we attended the launch of Barclays Eagle Labs at Flok Co-Working Space! This event was a celebration of tech advancements in the region and the opportunities that have arisen as a result. Pneuma Group's Sales and Marketing Director gave insight on our history and how the growth of Double Eleven was the catalyst for Pneuma Group's creation. A big thank you to Barclays Eagle Labs, Alt Labs, and Flok for bringing this event to life and to everyone who made the day such a success!

This week we partnered with the NewcastleGateshead Initiative bringing their executive dinner to SIX! We’re a proud partner of the initiative, who share so many of our values and goals for growth in the region. Hosting at Six gave members an opportunity to view the amazing panoramic of Newcastle and of course, they got a taste of SIX's exceptional food and drink. Massive appreciation to the Initiative for their dedication to lasting social and economic impact for the area, the future's looking bright!
