Basic steps in COMMUNICATION MODEL in #pmp The communication model used to facilitate communications and the exchange of information may vary from project to project and also within different stages of the same project. A basic communication model consists of two parties, defined as the sender and receiver. Medium is the technology medium and includes the mode of communication while noise includes any interference or barriers that might compromise the delivery of the message. The sequence of steps in a basic communication model is 1) Encode. Thoughts or ideas are translated (encoded) into language by the sender. 2) Transmit Message. This information is then sent by the sender using communication channel (medium). The transmission of this message may be compromised by various factors (e.g., distance, unfamiliar technology, inadequate infrastructure, cultural difference, and lack of background information). These factors are collectively termed as noise. 3) Decode. The message is translated by the receiver back into meaningful thoughts or ideas. 4) Acknowledge. Upon receipt of a message, the receiver may signal (acknowledge) receipt of the message but this does not necessarily mean agreement with or comprehension of the message. 5) Feedback/Response. When the received message has been decoded and understood, the receiver encodes thoughts and ideas into a message and then transmits this message to the original sender.

@syed Muhammad Hassan joined my batch 10 from #USA, and today, he cleared the exam. He is #PMP. One of the most interesting parts of his journey is that he is a very busy professional. Our first conversation happened on day 4 of batch 9, 2024. He asked me how people can clear #PMP in 4-6 weeks in your program. My answer was straightforward. You need to join to understand. What is 1) Customized roadmap 2) Follow up 3) Coaching call. We need to work together to master this, and then you can do #PMP. He trusts me after 1 month of challenging work by him. He is certified #PMP. I loved how he studied; this shows that when you are dedicated and have the proper roadmap, you can acheive success quickly. This is exactly what i believe in it. Right roadmap; right time to make sure you become certified #PMP. Great job, Awais and hassan tirimzi (R.E, PMI-PMP??) With every single #PMP that we are having; we are moving more and more towards our goal in making a community of certified #PMP. If he can do in one month with such a challenging shcedule what is stopping you from doing it? lets start your journey and lets make you certified #PMP in 2024! this one is greater than mantra and why it is important for you not only just for PMP but for anything in life. So, I am a big believer of that not everyone can do 8 or 6 or 4 or all. Everyone has a different type of life. Everyone study in a different pace. Some people are visual reader, some people are audio, some people prefer to read books. Everyone is entirely different. But the one thing is for sure, consistency you can get anything. With consistency you can break away and do whatever you want in your life. This one is greater than mantra which means if you don't have 4 hours, give 2 hours. If you don't have 2 hours, give 1 hour. If can't give 1, do 20 minutes. If you cannot do 20, do 5. At least do 1 minute. Do 1 push up. Like it came from 1 push up. Do something. When you do something your brain resistance start dropping and you are actually able to achieve those things. You see things are achieved with the help of consistency. No matter how much intense you can do. For example, you go to gym and you do 8 hours gym and you don't do it for next one week. It has no impact on your body apart from getting all the cramps and those things. But in addition to that, in replacement of that, if you go 20 minutes, 30 minutes, do treadmill and do it daily. And that's what I do. You will start noticing your weight going down. In this way, let's say you have to do a PMP certification, PGMP certification. You made your roadmap and start with small instead of giving like let's say I am going to give 4 hours today, tomorrow 4 hours. This is not like for 99% of the people. This is not possible. So what you need to do. Okay, let me start with 20 minutes today, tomorrow 20 minutes and then add on it. If you can maintain 4 hours, great. You can do PMP in 4 weeks, 2 hours, 2 months. But on those days when you are extremely busy, you cannot do something. Doing 20 minutes, doing 30 minutes, doing 1 hour will add so much value in your progress that you will never do. So the mantra 1 is greater than 0 is something to live for. It's something to go for. So whatever you are doing, even losing weight, that's what I'm doing right now. Gaining certification, anything in life, 1 is greater than 0. Use this mantra and I'm sure this is going to help you in your life. Bye bye.

?? The Essentials of Effective Communication in Project Management Clear and effective communication is a crucial factor in project success. The Communication Model offers a structured approach to ensure that information flows smoothly between all parties involved in a project. This model highlights the process of sending, receiving, and understanding messages, enabling project managers to minimize misunderstandings and maintain clarity. By understanding each component—sender, receiver, medium, noise, and feedback—project teams can improve collaboration and efficiency. Amer Ali's insightful video provides a practical explanation of communication dynamics within project management, emphasizing the importance of clear and consistent messaging. ???? https://lnkd.in/dFHsA-dB Watch the full tutorial by Amer Ali for more detailed guidance: Amer Ali's Communication in Project Management ?? #ProjectManagement #CommunicationModel #AmerAli #EffectiveCommunication #ProjectSuccess #InformationFlow #ProjectCollaboration

The Stakeholder Engagement Matrix is a strategic tool used in project management to assess and guide the level of involvement of each stakeholder at any point in a project. This matrix helps project managers visualize where stakeholders currently stand in terms of their engagement and identify the desired levels of involvement. This way, teams can focus their efforts on shifting stakeholders towards more supportive and engaged positions, ultimately contributing to a smoother project execution. ??? ?? Levels of Stakeholder Engagement: Unaware ?? Stakeholders who are not aware of the project or its potential impacts. Goal: Raise awareness through targeted communication and education. Strategy: Share clear information about the project's purpose and potential impacts. Resistant ?? Stakeholders who are aware of the project and its potential impacts but are resistant to change. Goal: Address concerns, provide more detailed information, and emphasize benefits to reduce resistance. Strategy: Use active listening, address fears, and involve them in discussions to alleviate concerns. Neutral ?? Stakeholders who are aware of the project but are neither supportive nor resistant. Goal: Shift them from neutrality to support through engagement and motivation. Strategy: Highlight project benefits, provide updates, and answer any questions they might have. Supportive ?? Stakeholders who are aware of the project and its impacts and are generally supportive of the work. Goal: Maintain support and increase involvement when necessary. Strategy: Keep them informed, celebrate milestones, and involve them in decision-making when appropriate. Leading ?? Stakeholders who are fully aware of the project and are actively engaged in ensuring its success. Goal: Keep them engaged and leverage their influence to drive the project forward. Strategy: Involve them in major decisions, recognize their contributions, and encourage them to champion the project. ?? Using the Stakeholder Engagement Matrix Step 1: Identify all stakeholders and categorize their current level of engagement. Step 2: Determine the desired level of engagement for each stakeholder. Step 3: Develop strategies to move stakeholders from their current state to the desired state. Step 4: Regularly update the matrix to track changes in engagement throughout the project lifecycle. ?? Key Benefits: Helps in understanding the current and desired stakeholder dynamics. Aids in tailoring communication and engagement strategies. Supports proactive management of stakeholder expectations. Ensures alignment with project goals for a successful outcome. #StakeholderEngagement #ProjectManagement #EngagementMatrix #ProjectSuccess #EffectiveCommunication #ProjectPlanning #StakeholderInvolvement
