A celebratory grand opening ceremony took place on Tuesday, November 19, 2024, to mark the completion of The Springs at The Waterfront in Vancouver, Wash. The new twelve-story, 360,000 SF, 250-unit?community for older adults is located at 1015 W Columbia Way, as part of the Waterfront Master Plan in Vancouver, Wash. Designed as an optimum environment for the health and well-being of residents and staff, the community has been designed with the intention of meeting the rigorous standards for LEED Gold Certification which rates systems for the design, construction, operation, and maintenance of green buildings, as well as FitWel Certification which uses evidence-based design and operational strategies to optimize occupant health. PMB joint ventured with The Springs Living to introduce this new, high-end urban senior living option at the well-established master plan, which builds off The Springs Living’s recent success in Lake Oswego, Ore. The Master Plan at Vancouver Waterfront is 32 acres in total and includes 7 acres of parks, residential apartments, office, hotels, and walkable retail and restaurants. The award-winning project is a 10-story, 230,000 square-foot, transit-oriented medical office building. This project, the future Valley Health Center San Jose, will provide county residents with seamless accessibility to a wide range of healthcare services and helps to catalyze SCVH’s medical office building into the pedestrian-oriented mixed-use neighborhood. This new project is the first freestanding facility in Indiana by UChicago Medicine and its largest offsite location. What an exciting project! PMB and Providence St. Joseph Hospital in Orange have opened the new Helen Caloggero Women’s and Family Center, a four-story, 137,000-square-foot facility that will provide improved access to vital women’s health services, benefits and resources for Orange County residents. The new center is located on the Providence St. Joseph Hospital campus at 363 S. Main Street in Orange and provides a new hub to access a wide array of services, including Providence Medical Foundation obstetrics and gynecology, a maternity wellness center to guide women through their pregnancy, maternal mental health services, pelvic health and rehab. The space also features La Amistad, a federally qualified health clinic, with OB-GYN and pediatric services for underserved members of the community. "This ceremony marks a major milestone for the Project Team as we are honored to help provide expanded access to healthcare for families in Orange County," said Mark Toothacre, Managing. Partner and CEO of PMB. "The building brings together a number of core services in one convenient location." The new building is named after the mother of generous donor Marsha Moeller, who made a substantial contribution to the hospital in keeping with her mother’s giving spirit, which Ms. Moeller says is her greatest inspiration.
