A celebratory grand opening ceremony took place on Tuesday, November 19, 2024, to mark the completion of The Springs at The Waterfront in Vancouver, Wash. The new twelve-story, 360,000 SF, 250-unit?community for older adults is located at 1015 W Columbia Way, as part of the Waterfront Master Plan in Vancouver, Wash. Designed as an optimum environment for the health and well-being of residents and staff, the community has been designed with the intention of meeting the rigorous standards for LEED Gold Certification which rates systems for the design, construction, operation, and maintenance of green buildings, as well as FitWel Certification which uses evidence-based design and operational strategies to optimize occupant health. PMB joint ventured with The Springs Living to introduce this new, high-end urban senior living option at the well-established master plan, which builds off The Springs Living’s recent success in Lake Oswego, Ore. The Master Plan at Vancouver Waterfront is 32 acres in total and includes 7 acres of parks, residential apartments, office, hotels, and walkable retail and restaurants. PMB, in partnership with Santa Clara Valley Healthcare, South Bay Construction, WRNS Studio, Baywest, recently won the Silicon Valley Business Journal Structures Award for Best Healthcare Project. The award-winning project is a 10-story, 230,000 square-foot, transit-oriented medical office building. PMB is proud to announce its partnership with Abrazo Health on the first combination medical office and inpatient rehabilitation facility in Goodyear, Arizona.?PMB broke ground on the new, 46,000 SF, 23-bed medical building which will feature Goodyear’s first combination of medical offices and inpatient rehabilitation programs housed in a single environment. Situated in a prime location in the Palm Valley Shopping center at 1375 N Litchfield Road, the new project is adjacent to other medical campus services and surrounding retail amenities. Plus, it is conveniently located alongside the I-10 freeway significantly contributing to the overall accessibility of the building. The new health center will provide advanced healthcare including inpatient rehabilitation services, internal medicine, cardiology, and hospitalists. The 24 inpatient rehabilitation beds will provide a broad range of rehabilitation services and care to patients recovering from strokes, brain injuries, spinal cord injuries, orthopedic injuries, neurological conditions, trauma and more. PMB and UChicago Medicine are beyond proud to announce the opening of a new 132,000-square-foot multispecialty care center in Crown Point, Ind., providing a significant enhancement in healthcare services for the community. This new project is the first freestanding facility in Indiana by UChicago Medicine and its largest offsite location. "This ceremony is an incredible milestone for the entire Project Team,” says Jake Rohe, Managing Partner and President of PMB. “The commitment and investment UChicago Medicine is making in this community will significantly impact the region, and we’re honored to be a small part of this major initiative.” Our other incredible partners in the project include The Walsh Group - Walsh Construction & Archer Western and the architecture and design firm Perkins&Will. Harrison Street is the Capital Partner. With the establishment of the UChicago Medicine Crown Point, residents of Northwest Indiana will have access to a wide range of advanced healthcare services. These include pediatric services provided by UChicago Medicine Comer Children’s Hospital and cancer treatment from the UChicago Medicine Comprehensive Cancer Center. The new center will also offer several features such as doctors’ offices for outpatient appointments, infusion therapy, radiation and medical/surgical oncology for cancer patients, MRI, CT, PET, X-ray and ultrasound imaging capabilities along with a breast imaging center, an ambulatory surgery center (ASC), and advanced laboratory services. Moreover, the center will provide access to advanced treatments through UChicago Medicine’s comprehensive clinical trials program. There will be a small emergency department and inpatient unit as well. The Crown Point team will coordinate with the University of Chicago Medical Center and other local hospitals to transfer emergency department patients requiring more complex emergency care.

What an exciting project! PMB and Providence St. Joseph Hospital in Orange have opened the new Helen Caloggero Women’s and Family Center, a four-story, 137,000-square-foot facility that will provide improved access to vital women’s health services, benefits and resources for Orange County residents. The new center is located on the Providence St. Joseph Hospital campus at 363 S. Main Street in Orange and provides a new hub to access a wide array of services, including Providence Medical Foundation obstetrics and gynecology, a maternity wellness center to guide women through their pregnancy, maternal mental health services, pelvic health and rehab. The space also features La Amistad, a federally qualified health clinic, with OB-GYN and pediatric services for underserved members of the community. "This ceremony marks a major milestone for the Project Team as we are honored to help provide expanded access to healthcare for families in Orange County," said Mark Toothacre, Managing. Partner and CEO of PMB. "The building brings together a number of core services in one convenient location." The new building is named after the mother of generous donor Marsha Moeller, who made a substantial contribution to the hospital in keeping with her mother’s giving spirit, which Ms. Moeller says is her greatest inspiration. The architect for the project is the Orange County, Calif., office of Boulder Associates, and the general contractor is Snyder Langston, which is based in Irvine, Calif., and PMB's management company, PMB Real Estate Services (PMB RES), will serve as property manager.
