Last week I had the privilege of attending Inc. Magazine’s annual conference, a gathering of America’s fastest growing companies. #inc5000 Most rewarding was the chance to meet other entrepreneurs and fellow CEOs in the professional services industry as well as meet leaders in other industries who’ve made the list. In interacting with fellow founders and business leaders I had 2?? major takeaways. ??1. Behind every crucial decision made was the basic instinct to listen and learn from their customer. It’s a good reminder to stay grounded and open to new ideas and revisiting previous decisions . Do they still make sense today? ??2. Even among the inc 5000 list the debate on remote work rages on . There were spirited conversations and concerns with the challenge of a return to work environment and how to balance productivity and the growing demand for team building in an increasingly remote workplace. Based on what I heard from other companies, I’m proud to say Plutus Nonprofit Solutions, LLC is a leader in the increasingly niche market of ??% remote. A special highlight from the trip was catching up with my friend and former colleague James Davis, founder of Touchdown Strategies, a top-notch marketing and PR firm. Today I would like to formally announce a change to the public that has been in the works for some time. I am stepping into a new role as CEO for Plutus Nonprofit Solutions, LLC. Last year, my co-founder and fellow managing partner, Alex Titus, decided he wanted to pursue new endeavors in his professional life. A meticulous transition plan was set in motion and we recently shared the news with our clients and partners that the transition has been completed. Reflecting on this transition, I am grateful for the strong team we have assembled at Plutus Nonprofit Solutions, LLC.?A new leadership team and various governing councils were established. A strong recruiting effort was made to find new talent to continue our strong growth trajectory and provide exemplary service to our clients. A big thank you to every member of the Plutus team. It’s evident that you care about our clients, each other, and always look to continuously improve. Our unique team culture is beginning to bloom and it will bear fruit long into the future. A big thank you to our clients. We did everything we could to make the transition as painless as possible for you. We thank you for continuing to do business with us and we promise to continue to improve and provide greater value to you year over year. The biggest thank you to my wife and son. The last 12+ months I spent more hours than I could count focused on the business. Thank you for being my anchors and motivation in a very challenging time in my life. As we look ahead to the future, I am confident that Plutus will continue to lead the way in providing exceptional Salesforce implementation and support services for the nonprofit sector.
