In the spirit of our rethink Valentine’s Day celebration, we wanted to highlight some of our non-romantic partnerships, like Wade and Carroll. Wade Davis and Carroll Dunham are friends and anthropologists passionate about preserving indigenous wisdom. Wade, a renowned Canadian photographer, author, and anthropologist, explores the richness of indigenous cultures worldwide. Carroll, a medical anthropologist and writer, has spent decades deeply immersed in South Asia’s ancient traditions, studying Buddhism and raising foster children in the Himalayas of Tibet. “I think everything in life is a lot more fun if you share it than if you try to do it all yourself,” Richard Branson says as he reflects on his partnership with Peter Gabriel. Long-time friends Richard Branson and Peter Gabriel came together to form The Elders Foundation, an independent organization devoted to addressing some of the world’s most pressing challenges. The two believe that their unique skill sets complement one another and that they’re better together than they are individually. Incredible results can come from a deep partnership. Only one more day to celebrate the person who complements you and helps you achieve great things! Rethink Valentine's Day by sending or scheduling an ecard here - https://lnkd.in/dW4WfHZH

“A lot of people think partnership is one and one equals two. It’s wrong. With one and one equals two you have no added value. A good partnership is when one and one equals three!” Bertrand Piccard and André Borschberg insist that they are better together. Who makes you better? Tag them in the comments and send them some recognition here - https://lnkd.in/dW4WfHZH

"To build community requires love" One-third of adults and about half of young people are struggling with loneliness. As the former Surgeon General of the United States, Vivek Murthy made a parting prescription for the nation: choose to nurture and love your community—a powerful source of life satisfaction and life expectancy. Valentine’s Day has been known to make singles a little dreary, but what if we thought differently about this holiday of love? What if we also celebrated the non-romantic partnerships and friendships in our lives? Join us in following this thoughtful prescription by taking one action today to nurture and love your community: send your partner(s) in purpose an ecard for this Valentine’s Day here - https://lnkd.in/dW4WfHZH And click this link to read Dr. Murthy's full prescription - https://lnkd.in/e-dSe6W2

Love isn’t just about romance. It’s bigger than that. Ben Cohen and Jerry Greenfield, the friends and business partners who founded Ben & Jerry's, created their ice cream company on the foundation of love. When Jean Oelwang reflects on her conversations with Ben and Jerry, she recalls to Foundr that she’s “never been in an interview where the word love was mentioned so much.” Who’s the Ben to your Jerry? Recognize them with by sending an ecard here: https://lnkd.in/eRQBY2f8

Join us in recognizing the amazing partners in our lives this upcoming February 14. Whether they’re a business partner, coworker, mentor, or friend, we’re taking the time to tell the impactful partners in our lives just how much they mean to us by sending them a Valentine’s Day ecard. Our cofounder Jean Oelwang beautifully captures President Carter's memorial—a tribute to his lifelong commitment to service, faith, and unity.
Reflecting on President Carter's final Sunday school lesson, Jean Oelwang reminds us of the enduring power of values, service, and moral courage that made President Carter one of the most impactful leaders of our time: https://virg.in/40zPbuf | The Elders Foundation

Today we honor the passing of President Carter, a giant of moral courage and a model of remarkable partnership. His humility, his belief in possibility, his commitment to service, his curiosity, his deep humanity, and his sheer determination to do the right thing made him a beacon for all that is good in this world. He was loved into being by the incredible Rosalynn Carter, a 77-year partnership that shaped both of their lives with love and light. The Carter Center has set up a lovely tribute site: jimmycartertribute.org/

Our cofounder Jean Oelwang was honored to speak last month with clean energy leaders in Utah on the exponential impact of partnership in the work to ensure a healthy environment for future generations.
On November 19, Utah Clean Energy brought together Utah leaders to hear from Jean Oelwang, President of Virgin Unite, and author of?Partnering: Forge the Deep Connections That Make Great Things Happen. Together with distinguished fellow speakers: Ryan Westwood CEO of Fullcast, The Go-to-Market Cloud, Sarah Wright, CEO of Utah Clean Energy, and Becky Edwards, Founder of Governing Group, we explored how Utahns can partner together to create transformative change for a healthy environment! These are just a few of the highlights from this exceptional event. Xiye Bastida
