Using BeFlared bridging stents for FEVAR seems like a true improvement. Easy to handle, precise deployment, good visibility. Saves quite a bit of handling as well.

We wish to congratulate Dr. Mark Haagmans and his team at the radiology department of the VieCuri MC Venlo with another successful Bycross case. Case: Occluded Popliteal Artery of the left leg, calcification mass visible on CT and fluoroscopy at the site of the occlusion. Rekanalization with a 0.018” Glidewire Advantage and CXI microcatheter. First passage with Bycross at low speed rotation already gave an improved lumen, with still some residual calcification visible. After second passage with the Bycross on high speed and opened wings the vessel was nicely opened. Remaining stenosis was treated with a 4mm pta balloon on low pressure inflation, followed by a DEB inflation of the total treated length. This resulted in a very nice angiographical result with direct and good flow to the BTK vessels. All vessels were patent, no distal embolism visible. #bycross #leavenothingbehind #vesselprep
