Last Friday marked the final day of our Returnship program in India, and we couldn’t be prouder of this incredible group of women. Over the past 6 months, participants have immersed themselves in structured learning and collaborated with our Front-end, Back-end, and DevOps teams. They've gained new confidence, refreshed skills, and are ready to successfully re-enter the tech workforce. We’re very excited to share that 3 participants have already received full-time offers at other companies! A huge congratulations to all the women who completed the program! In celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month, we’re honored to highlight the stories of Natasha Segarra, Talent Operations Coordinator, and Alex Iglesias, Associate Technical Account Manager, who bring their rich cultural heritage to Pluralsight every day. ???? Natasha’s Heritage ???? "I identify as Latinx, and I am a very proud Puerto Rican. My family is all from the island, but my brother and I were the first ones born stateside." ?? Advice for the Hispanic/Latinx Community in Tech: "Be confident, and don't listen to the little voice of imposter syndrome. As the first person in my family to be in tech, I felt like I didn’t belong for a while... But I remained confident, asked questions when I needed to, and found a community of people who felt just like me. I now feel confident navigating the rough waters of tech, but I will still ask questions when I need to, and I am always willing to lend a helping hand." ???? Alex’s Heritage ???? "My father is from Cuba and was made a refugee when Castro took over in the early 60s. He was sent over without his parents in a program called Pedro Pan that sent Cuban kids to the US. He was 16 years old." ?? Advice for the Hispanic/Latinx Community in Tech: "For my Latinx familia, my advice is to always be genuinely who you are. It’s not always easy to show up authentically, and it can be so scary, but we have so much to give and our stories connect us to others on so many levels, regardless of where a person has come from. We are a vastly diverse group of folks and that diversity even within our own group makes us even stronger." #HispanicHeritageMonth #WeArePluralsight
