Generally we suggest a strainer on the upstream side of a PRV to catch any apprentices before they reach the PRV! Happy to host some apprentices of Plumbers Local Union 68 at our #VBT facility this past Saturday morning in Cypress, Texas for some hands on training. We discussed Victaulic PRV stations, BERMAD pressure reducing valves and safety valves, commissioning, servicing, and even got to take apart and put back together some PRVs.
