?? Coming together in tough times. Last October, heavy floods hit the Valencia Province in Spain, impacting many communities, including the local soccer club C.F. Juventud Chiva. Their facilities and equipment were severely affected, making it harder for young players to keep doing what they love. At Plug and Play, we believe in the power of community. That’s why we donated new sports materials to support the club in getting back on its feet. A huge thank you to the Chiva City Hall for helping make this happen! Sports bring people together, just like innovation does. Last week, we concluded a highly engaging Plug and Play Italy event at the U.S. Commercial Service of the American Embassy in Rome! ???????? The event was an exciting opportunity to explore how #deeptech and #AI are transforming #sustainability and #infrastructure. Leaders from the industry, startups, and the innovation community came together to share valuable insights and success stories that are shaping the future. The day kicked off with a welcome by Matt Ciesielski from the U.S. Department of State, followed by insightful presentations from Tommaso Maschera and Matteo Pisani of Plug and Play. We heard from Carlo Reita on the state of deep tech, and Gian Fausto Navoni and Federico Di Gennaro discussed the exciting impacts of AI. Startup pitches from Stefano Bonetti, Marco Bolignari and Matteo Fava demonstrated the innovative solutions driving change. Emma Ryan, Paolo Cerioli, and Massa Alessandro provided key insights on protecting critical infrastructure, while Palmo Antonio Cavallo and Giulio Ranucci explored the role of digital transition and services in shaping the future of public and private sectors. The event concluded with closing remarks by Borja Aznar-Bonilla.
