A gorgeous Cape Cod morning provided the perfect weather for the ribbon cutting ceremony for the Mashpee Community Farm at the Mashpee Middle High School this past Friday, August 29th. The garden’s already flourishing beds will provide fresh vegetables and fruits to the local community and give students a chance to learn about farming through hands on experience while enjoying the harvest in the school cafeteria. The farm also includes a bed for the Mashpee Wampanoag Tribe to grow the traditional “three sisters” (corn, beans and squash). Herban Fresh is a proud sponsor and we look forward to this farm serving the Mashpee community for years to come!

Thank you PGI for having Optimal Safety out to perform your forklift train the trainer program! Our forklift certification course fully complies with OSHA's general industry and construction standards for forklift operator training, and also does a deep dive into how to train people, the different types of learning, styles, and public speaking habits. We also got some cool swag and some great soup to take home. #safety is always fun with Optimal Safety Inspections we also had a famous appearance by Joseph Ronchetti. Good times, great conversations and delicious foods were had at the Seafood Expo North America/Seafood Processing North America this week! We enjoyed connecting with our peers in the seafood industry while sampling some of our popular soups & sauces. Stopping by the booth on Sunday was Jarvis G., former Patriots defensive end, who is working to build sustainable aquatic food systems in disadvantaged communities around the globe through the Green REEF Foundation.
