Since the brutal attacks on Saturday Oct 7, our teams have been working relentlessly, trying to support our southern employees, their families, civilians and troops in the south - providing housing solutions in safer areas, delivering food and supply donations to those in need. Our Playtikans have also been constantly working to support their friends and families, not only opening their homes and hearts, but also volunteering and donating, warming our hearts. We condemn these brutal and violent attacks, and pray for better, safer times. #WeStandWithIsrael

Last week, Slotomania held a unique Fuckup Night, reminding us that failure can be a powerful teacher. Our speakers—GM Amnon Calev, VP Noam Rahavy, VIP Group Manager Nitzan Shaked, and Monetization Operation Specialist Ruth Ben Hammou—shared their stories of professional challenges and the lessons they gained. The event had it all: a retro-inspired video (starring our very own Adam!) that captured the humor and resilience of overcoming mistakes, a confession wall where team members shared their memorable ‘oops’ moments, and thoughtful touches like retro radios and witty stickers. It was an impactful night that showcased our commitment to growth and open learning. At Playtika, knowledge sharing is key ?? Last week, we extended our tradition of clan meetings to the local community in Bucharest with a Java meetup, connecting and inspiring engineers through hands-on expertise. Our talented Software Engineers, Simona Oancea and Emanuel Popescu, led an insightful session on a unique development approach that has helped WSOP become a top-rated game.? Java Champion Victor Rentea also joined us to introduce the concept of a “modulith” ?? The event, hosted by our very own Razvan Balasa, brought PLAY to learning and sparked exciting discussions.? “Almost any company you talk to has some sort of concrete target they’re chasing. They will finish that, the moment they got there, they’re looking for the next target,” said Amir Jackoby, Playtika’s Chief of Staff, as he spoke to a group of MBA students at Tel Aviv University. We were honored to partner with Tamar Many’s Design Thinking Course in The Sofaer Global MBA at Tel Aviv University for a Hackathon on Gaming & Business ?? Amir and Tamar curated the content for this hackathon to be as high-impact and valuable as possible for these young business minds. The theme of the hackathon was how to use gaming as a tool in the business world, especially in the world of entrepreneurship & startups.
