Playground Specialists recently had a conversation with Meghan Talarowski, PLA, ASLA, CPSI of Studio Ludo where she shared insights from 3 play studies that she and her team conducted. ?? The studies produced data collected from 100 play environments and 60,000 people at those environments. Meghan's biggest takeaway: “Half of people in playgrounds are not kids. They’re teens, adults, and seniors." ?? This research highlights the importance for Landscape Architects, City Planners, and Designers to consider the different users when designing and specifying parks and play environments. ??
