关于我们

Platte Valley Hospital (PVH) became the first private general medical-surgical hospital in Adams and Southern Weld Counties in 1960. For 47 years, Platte Valley was located on seven acres at 18th and Bridge Street in Brighton. In 2007, Platte Valley moved to a 50-acre campus at I-76 and 144th Avenue. Today, Platte Valley is a 98-bed community hospital and Level III Trauma Center. Platte Valley's 10 Pillars of Healing are incorporated into every patient experience. They include integrative therapies, human interactions, support networks, healing design, education and information, healthy and delicious meals, healing art therapy, spirituality, healing touch, and healthy communities to help patients recover. Also a nationally ranked top performing hospital, Platte Valley offers high-level services —including a Primary Stroke Center, an Accredited Chest Pain Center and advanced cardiovascular program, a Level II Special Care Nursery, and innovative surgical, orthopedic and women’s services — found in many larger metropolitan hospitals.

  • Last week, our dedicated Platte Valley Ambulance Service crews teamed up with South Adams County Fire Department engine crews to practice transport crew integration for cardiac arrest management! This vital training is a key step in SACFD's journey to resume advanced life support level care. Our crews, stationed together in the firehouse, work side-by-side to deliver exceptional clinical care to Commerce City and South Adams County. This strong partnership has been praised by leadership, medical directors, and national EMS experts. Together, we're making a difference!

  • The Brighton Area Fire Department hosted an event called “One Step Closer to Home" on June 14th, aimed at providing essential services and resources for those?experiencing?homelessness. We were honored to participate, providing free blood pressure checks and lunches to attendees. In addition to health screenings, free resources included showers, haircuts, food, job opportunities, clothing vouchers, and assistance obtaining legal identification. The outpouring of community support was outstanding, with participation from many of our community partners including the City of Brighton Police Department, Almost Home, Inc, the Greater Brighton Chamber of Commerce, and Adams County Government. We look forward to continuing our collaborative efforts to provide support and hope for our community! #OneStepCloserToHome

  • April Vialpando, RN, believes victims of sexual assault or domestic violence should be able to access care from a forensic nurse as soon as is possible. It should not take days, extensive travel, or a grueling wait for the victim. Better access is now possible at Platte Valley Hospital, thanks to a $438,000 grant from Adams County. We will use the funds to expand our Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner (SANE) program. The program provides critical, compassionate service for victims of sexual assault and domestic violence. “By expanding the SANE program, we are ensuring that victims of these horrific crimes receive the care and support they need without unnecessary delays or obstacles,” said Adams County Commissioner and Chair Emma Pinter. “This grant is a significant step in our commitment to improving public health and safety in our community.” Read more here: https://lnkd.in/gJ-UYwJw

  • We had a blast celebrating our excellent Platte Valley Hospital caregivers last week during Caregiver Appreciation Week! We showed off our Platte Valley spirit all week with fun scrubs, Hawaiian Day, Sports Day, and more! Caregivers enjoyed our monthly RESET at Recess, featuring a collaborative art project and resources for stress first aid. We also enjoyed delicious food from Qdoba and the Simply Pizza Truck, a soda bar generously donated by Colorado Christian University! Perhaps the biggest hit of all was the miniature ponies who paid us a visit on Friday! Thank you to our caregivers for all you do to make a difference in our patients' lives every day. #CaregiverAppreciationWeek

This clinic offers primary and specialty care in the quickly growing area of Riverdale and Amber Creek, expanding access to care where there is a shortage of providers and healthcare options. The clinic is located on 136th and Quebec across from the King Soopers. Since opening in December, this clinic has seen over 2,000 patients! We look forward to continuing to serve you.
