??On Alexander Graham Bell's birthday (March 3), we celebrate his telephone innovation by highlighting our fiber network, established in 1999. Our system includes interconnected 144-fiber rings in Longmont, Loveland, and Fort Collins and a 72-fiber ring in Estes Park, delivering physically diverse and redundant connectivity with no single point of failure. Platte River's infrastructure laid the foundation for our owner communities to build their networking capabilities. This investment has resulted in returns to our owner communities through dark fiber leasing. During the 2024 Alexander Mountain fire and the 2013 Estes Park flood, our available redundancy ensured uninterrupted crucial communications for emergency services. Today, we continue to support the fiber backbones for each of the owner community's broadband networks, including NextLight in Longmont, Trailblazer in Estes Park, Pulse in Loveland and Connexion in Fort Collins.
