Plattco is a US-based, employee-owned corporation, founded in 1897. We are the standard by which valve performance is measured. We manufacture valves and specialize in industrial valve engineering for conveying, processing, and isolating in a wide variety of industrial applications. We have over sixty years of industrial valve expertise with over 120 years of metallurgical and manufacturing experience into each product line. We design and manufacture only the highest quality double flap airlock valves, knife gates, and isolation slide gates that are used for feed and discharge of product or waste in over 100 industries worldwide. Plattco supplies custom solutions for bulk, dry material handling and processing applications of our customers. I started as a design engineering intern with Plattco in 2005. I liked the dynamic of working for a smaller company where your individual contributions make a significant impact. I am especially interested in new product development and solving long standing problems for Plattco and our customers. ???????? ???? ???????? ???????????????? ???????? ???? ???????? ??????? Working with my team members. In my current role, I look forward to coming into work every day to help the sales and engineering teams excel at their jobs. We are changing our approach to sales and engineering. That change is challenging and invigorating. ???????? ?????? ???????? ???????? ???????????????? ?????????????? ???? ???????? ???? & ??????? Product development is one of my personal passions. My favorite project has been the development and planned 2025 roll out of Plattco's newest electric actuator. This project has included working with the engineering team to develop this product since 2020, working with the manufacturing team to manufacture and source the product, and actions with the sales team to market and roll out the product in late 2025. ???????????????? ?????????????? ???? ?????????? ??????????. Finance Director. ???????? ???? ???????? ???????????????? ???????? ???? ???????? ??????? I think my favorite part of my job at Plattco is there is no monotony. People think "oh, it's accounting. You add and subtract numbers all day long." But it is so much more than that! I can walk in to the office in the morning expecting to work on general ledger entries and get sidetracked by a completely different project or question. ???????? ???? ?? ???????????????????????? ?????????????? ?????????? ???????? ??????’???? ?????????? ????? I feel like my entire time here at Plattco is a success story! In the ten years I have been with Plattco, I have moved through the organization from a temporary clerk to the Finance Director role. One of my proudest accomplishments was my transition to Controller at Plattco. It was a rough go, but through determination, hard work, and the support of some key cheerleaders, I was successful. ???????? ???? ?????????????????? ???????????????????? ?????? ???????? ???????????? ???????? ?????????? ??????? I absolutely HATE snakes. It's not their fault at all, completely on me - but I am terrified of them. Turning a magazine page to one or having one pop on the television screen gives me goosebumps. Seeing one in real life is the thing of nightmares. ???????????????? ?????????????? ???? ?????????? ??????????. Family Oriented. Customer-Focused. Innovative. ???????? ???? ?????????? ???????? ????????????. I live in Peru with my husband, Bill, and our two children, Emily and Tanner. Bill is my soulmate. Life is crazy but he keeps me sane with his steadiness, sense of humor, and just enough crazy to keep me on my toes. Emily is a beautiful, sassy, sweetheart of a girl that is so much my mini-Me, it's scary. Tanner is my wild-child with a huge heart! I swear he is the reason for almost every grey hair on my head! We recently added a new member to our family: a black lab puppy we named Acadia. ???????? ?????? ???????? ?????????????? ?????????????? ???? ????????? Both kiddos play hockey so we are kept very busy this time of year chasing them around to different rinks. I absolutely love being a hockey mom and everything that comes with it! In the summer, we love to camp and have been known to haul our camper all over the place - be it as close as a friends back yard or as far as Acadia National Park in Maine. I have always wanted to try Ballroom Dancing. It looks so graceful when you watch. Unfortunately, I was born with two left feet...
