The Job of an Agency Recruiter DEBUNKED Sometimes when I first start talking to new candidates they are a little nervous to work with a third-party recruiter because they think I am going to force them into taking a job they do not want. Sometimes when I talk to new clients they are worried I will force my candidates on them no matter what. Forcing people into doing things was NOT in my job description. Honestly, I would be pretty miserable if I thought that was my job.... Here is what I ACTUALLY do for candidates in addition to submitting them to jobs: ? I provide market knowledge. Even if I don't have the perfect job right now, we can talk about the direction the job market is trending. I can share trends on salary, hybrid schedule, and insights on a lot of different roles and firms. ? Sometimes clients can create a position for a really awesome candidate even if they are not advertising a job. Not only can recruiters submit you to open jobs, but we can also connect you to target firms. ? I can keep an eye and ear out for exactly what you are looking for. ? I will help you navigate through the interview process. I have helped turn nervous interviewers into interviewing pros through interview prep and mock interviews ? I can negotiate on your behalf ?
