It's November! I think we're all ready for this election to be over. But are you prepared for the influx of Christmas decorations and Christmas music that are, right this second, skating in on Santa's sleigh?? Not so fast! First it's Long-Term Care Insurance Awareness Month!! If I could pipe LTCi FAQs through the speakers of every department store (in between Christmas classics, of course), I probably would. Why? It's not because I'm THAT MUCH FUN that I think this would be a good time... It's because I find I talk to too many clients who were unaware of LTC planning when it would have benefitted them most. I also find that a shockingly large number of financial planners "don't believe in" long-term care insurance. They need a Christmas miracle! As an industry, let's use this Long-Term Care Awareness Month to show them what they're missing!
