Friday is Employee Appreciation Day and our PLASKOLITE Scranton location got together early for an employee celebration lunch as a thank you for all of the hard work and dedication from our team members. The menu included a generous assortment of chicken, meatballs, stuffed shells, potatoes, veggies, and of course ending on a sweet note with cake for dessert! After nearly 40 years of service to PLASKOLITE, Chief Commercial Officer, John Szlag will be retiring in the coming months. Over the past four decades, John has played a critical role in the growth and success of PLASKOLITE, and will be sorely missed by not only colleagues, but cherished friends. John says, "I thank Donald Dunn for giving me the opportunity to first come to PLASKOLITE and everyone's ongoing support thereafter. I am especially thankful to Jim Dunn, Mark and Mitch Grindley for the PLASKOLITE vision we all have, their ongoing personal friendship and support. It's that time of the year again for the chili cook off at our Buggyworks global headquarters in Columbus, Ohio! Our PLASKOLITE colleagues got to sample many different outstanding chilis along with toppings and sides, made by the team members themselves. Congratulations to this year's winners! Megan Carlotta took away 1st place, Kandy Hodges in 2nd place, followed by Katie Piper in 3rd place.
