Formerly MRWM Landscape Architects. Elegant, compelling landscape and planning solutions for fifty years.
关于我们
We design and plan the built environment where resources are scarce, and conditions are harsh. We measure the success of a project by its ability to solve the challenges of a site with simple and compelling solutions. Our designs are elegant expressions of the culture and ecosystems that compose the desert Southwest.

Welcome our first Arizona-based Landscape Architect, Maria Voris, to the Pland Team! Maria is not just a cactus enthusiast, she’s a bona fide cactus rescuer who volunteers with the Tucson Cactus and Succulent Society to save cacti and other native plants. Self-proclaimed “plant nerds,” she and her husband have hundreds of cacti in their yard, including 20 saguaros and over 50 barrels, many from rescue.?Her Southwestern oasis wouldn’t be complete without Rio, her native desert tortoise. One of Maria’s favorite projects in her portfolio is a traditional Mexican-American home garden, or barrio garden, designed and constructed in collaboration with the Tucson Botanical Garden. Created to showcase a diverse sample of gardens throughout the nation, her project was selected to be installed as a temporary installation at the U.S. Botanic Garden in Washington DC and won an Arizona ASLA Honor Award. When Maria isn’t designing award-winning gardens and rescuing prickly plant friends, she is busy doing yoga, cycling, and dancing Flamenco. Meet Riley, the newest landscape designer at our Lubbock office! With degrees in both Landscape Architecture and Interior Design, Riley is passionate about creating indoor and outdoor spaces that are functional, beautiful, and accessible. As a Certified Playground Safety Inspector, she ensures the playgrounds she designs are sound and her energetic 5-year-old son is happy to put them to the test. When she’s not spending time with her husband and son, designing outdoor recreation facilities, and serving as the West Texas ASLA Section Chair, Riley can be found refurbishing antique furniture, with two furry inspectors of her own to supervise the work: her bloodhound, Bandit and blue heeler, Heidi.
