Celebrating Legends with the University of Alabama We had the honor of partnering with the University of Alabama to tell their story of “Where Legends Are Made” for their annual homecoming bonfire. With our drones, we created an experience that went beyond visuals—it resonated deeply with the university's traditions, achievements, and spirit. Our show opened with the iconic Crimson “A,” setting the stage for a night of connection and nostalgia. To capture the crowd’s energy and school pride, we depicted Alabama's beloved mascot, Big Al, with his trunk raised in celebration, followed by the Alabama cheerleaders leading the crowd in timeless cheers. These sequences helped attendees feel like active participants in the story unfolding above them. From there, we transitioned into Alabama's legacy. We displayed an Alabama football helmet with the number 18, representing the school’s national championships, and an Alabama football player in a stance reminiscent of the Heisman Trophy—both honoring the players and moments that have solidified Alabama’s legendary status. One unique challenge was finding a way to pay tribute to the university’s celebrated coaches. In collaboration with the Alabama team, we came up with the idea of depicting iconic hats, a nod to the legendary coaches who shaped Alabama football and the champions they’ve inspired. Finally, we connected all the pieces of the story with the University of Alabama’s tagline, “Where Legends Are Made,” and concluded by igniting a torch in the sky. This symbolic lighting of the bonfire served as Alabama’s powerful gesture of passing the torch to the next generation of legends, bringing the experience from the sky to the ground. A huge thank you to The University of Alabama and to every team member who made this experience unforgettable. During last weekend’s 2024 Sao Paolo game, the Eagles looked for a unique way to celebrate their team’s NFL opening game. In conjunction with premium sponsor Ricoh USA, Inc., Pixis - The Premier Drone Show Company worked to create a bespoke in-stadium halftime experience for Eagles fans gathered to watch the game together at the team’s Philadelphia home. We brought Eagles stalwarts like Jalen Hurts, Josh Swett, and Brandon Graham to life and celebrated newcomer Saquan Barkley’s big debut game in the sky in a show designed to excite the fans for the new season. Deploying the most drones ever used in a Philadelphia show, we celebrated the franchise by putting a massive eagle over the stadium and syncing the lights of our drones to match the team’s victory song and iconic E-A-G-L-E-S cheer.
