We were also excited to see clients from Peninsula Credit Union and Santa Clara County Federal Credit Union. We particularly appreciated the the 'Building Employee Culture" breakout session, during which Point West CEO Amy Nelson said, "There’s wealth building at our cooperative that’s values based.” As an employee-owned cooperative, we couldn't agree more!

Since our team members span four countries and six U.S. states, we want to make sure that our giving efforts also support causes that are meaningful for each of us. To that end, we select two teammates each quarter to direct our employee-led giving efforts. Technology Director & Co-owner Fitz Ryland explains why he chose The Portland Mercado, which received a donation of $1,590 from PixelSpoke last quarter! The Portland Mercado is an initiative of Hacienda Community Development Corp. (CDC), a Latino-led Community Development Corporation that strengthens families by providing affordable housing, homeownership support, economic advancement and educational opportunities. The Portland Mercado is a hub for Latino culture in Portland that provides affordable retail space for businesses to launch and grow. It was severely impacted by a fire on Jan 3 and is actively seeking support to rebuild.
