The workflow involved cleaning the point cloud to focus on ground points, applying the Smart Grid of Points tool to adjust density based on terrain irregularity, and generating a TDM using break lines and the grid ?? This process produced a CAD file containing an orthomosaic, 3D outline, contour lines, and a digital terrain model. ??? ??? GIS Week at Pix4D continues! Today, we're spotlighting a powerful sustainability project in the Amazon Rainforest! Using drones and PIX4Dmatic, large areas were mapped and data was seamlessly exported to QGIS for in-depth analysis. The image shows an orthomosaic overlaid with a DSM, resulting in a highly informative map. This helped classify land cover and identify key emergent trees ??—critical for conservation.
