We are thrilled to announce that last Friday, November 8, 2024, Williams Elementary School was awarded the prestigious National Blue Ribbon Award! This incredible honor from the U.S. Department of Education recognizes Williams’ commitment to academic excellence, dedication, and the outstanding achievements of our students and staff. Principal Light, Principal Shepardson, Williams Educators Kimberly Abderhalden and Sharon Gilmore, and Superintendent Curtis proudly accepted the award for the entire Williams Elementary School community. On Friday, November 1, 2024, Egremont Elementary proudly hosted the Berkshire County Ignite Showcase, welcoming local educators and leaders eager to learn more about the Ignite Reading One-to-One tutoring program. Our Berkshires Collaboration for the Barr Foundation Fall Portrait of a Graduate (PoG) convening. Educators from Pittsfield High School, Taconic High School, and Drury High School worked with our colleagues from Lowell, Springfield, and across the PoG network.
