Hometown Heroes at PyCon US 2025 - Call For Proposals! PyData Pittsburgh is excited to invite Pittsburgh-based Python software engineers, data scientists, researchers, educators, and other Python enthusiasts to submit proposals for the Hometown Heroes track at PyCon US 2025. We are seeking proposals for 30-minute presentations and 5-minute lightning talks that highlight interesting and innovative uses of Python. The Hometown Heroes track will take place on Saturday, May 17, from 1:45 PM to 5:45 PM, on-site at PyCon US 2025 at the David L. Lawrence Convention Center. Hometown Heroes strengthens the relationship between PyCon US and its host city and forges connections within the local community that will last long after the curtain closes on the conference.
